2004 Yamaha YZF-250 4-Stroke Ohio no title state Yamaha of Troy Racing Team MXR Dirt Bike This striking Dirt Bike is in excellent condition and has been garage kept. Has normal riding wear such as ankle/boot buffing on the frame and minor scuffs here and there from track and off trail brush. Plastics are in excellent shape and there's nothing to take away from the busy eye catching looks of this machine. All of the hardware is in perfect shape. Seat is soft and pliable with no tears. Hot start functions properly. Radiator is fresh with no leaks. Swing-arm bushings are in good shape chain guards/slides and rollers are in good shape but do have some wear. Sprocket teeth have excellent shape depth with very little wear. Clutch has excellent adjustment and transmission shifts smooth with no play. Hrs. are unknown but the engine is tight with excellent compression and runs very responsive and clean. Brakes pads are in good shape and very responsive with excellent pressure and fluid is clean. The knobbies aren't new but are very acceptable with plenty of tread. Tires have already been treated with Off Trail Gel to prevent flats. There is nothing on this bike that will need replacement anytime soon. This bike is ready for racing with all required aftermarket high performance parts to put it on the track. or just to enjoy the freedom of trail/cross country riding fun. This bike has no performance issues with frequent PM's and a fresh oil change/spark plug. These types of bikes do require minor adjustment to there carburetors with season change and altitude for maximum performance. It's easier to keep a record of the number setting on the season change to avoid re-hunting the settings. It will always put you in the ballpark for fine tuning. Novice Riders use caution and have respect for this machine. Never dump the throttle from a dead idle when not riding these types of bikes. They are not designed for that and don't like it. I always tease my revs before any power moves. Always keep in mind to use your counter balance. lexibility to your muscles. and be in good shape for the power range and suspension of these platforms and types of engines. They are not old school 4-strokes that many are use to. They are very responsive and will leave you behind in a heart beat if you don't know what your doing. They can and will hurt you if you think your going to go out and be Evil Knievel without years of practice. Get to know your bike and become one with it. To all the experienced riders. you know what I'm talking about. I'm just looking out for the ones that are new to this sport and to keep them and their new pride in one piece. Plus. I don't want you to just go out and trash my bike. lol. I love it and I'm selling her to help pay for completing my flight training. and I'm getting older now. Please take good care of her for me.
