For sale is my 1984 Yamaha RZ350L. This is a 2 stroke machine that runs great. When I buy a bike. I want to know everything about it. so I will list everything I can so you know exactly what you are bidding on. First of all. the frame and engine is numbers matching. The bike shifts smooth and rides good. It has mild engine work done along with Zeeltronic programmable power valve controller. Bike was previously painted. and still looks good other than minor areas shown in pictures. Upon disassembly by previous owner. original cluster was dropped and broken and was replaced with a Canadian spec cluster. Due to this error. exact mileage is unknown. Bike is tuned for mid-top end performance. This RZ has a full Toomey exhaust with k&n pods and keihin dual carbs. This bike pulls very hard and will put you on one wheel at 6k when the valves open. The tach works one day. and not the next. I haven't messed with it yet. The "catalyzer" light is wired into the tach and when you are about to redline. it will come on and function as a shift indicator light. There is no horn or turn signals for this bike. Kill switch has been disconnected. Recently serviced cooling system and put fresh Engine Ice in there to help keep it cooler. but it will still overheat if you are stuck in traffic. it's an RZ! Bike has Avon tires with plenty of tread left. Bike has new chain. mirrors. fork oil. engine oil. and brake fluid. Gas cap is a pain in the neck to get on and off. but it works. you just have to play with it. I always run 93 octane with Blendzall 2 Stroke Racing castor. Bike is still oil injected. The front forks are secured by a Daytona front fork brace. All brake calipers were completely rebuilt and the front master cylinder was replaced. Toomey Pipes were ceramic coated in flat black. I am missing the bolts that hold the chin fairing in place. so I made use of some zip ties laying around. Bike still has center stand and side kick stand. Both side fairings have damage where they would snap into place. but they still stay in place very well. Previous owner welded support to the neck of the frame which actually looks pretty good. I do need to replace the exhaust gaskets. as I never did when the pipes were coated. and there is a small exhaust leak on one cylinder. It doesn't affect performance. but the unburned oil will slowly find its way out. Previous owner had a chain break while riding and it caused damage to the inner chain cover on the case. but it doesn't affect anything. Engine was rebuilt by previous owner. New welded and balanced crank. new seals. new bearings. the whole nine yards. Yes there are flaws. and no it is not a showroom piece. This bike was meant to be ridden and it was. I took care of it. and I will miss it. but it's time for a new home. I do have a clean Florida title in my name ready to be transferred. What you see in the pictures is what you are getting.
