We are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. One of our officers donated this motorcycle to us because he upgraded to a newer bike and wanted to help us fundraise. This was his "starter bike" and would still serve the same great purpose for a new owner looking for a quality used bike with very low mileage. That having been said. it would make a great bike for a collector as well! The engine was rebuilt in 2013 and it's barely been ridden since then. The tires seem to be in very good shape. but we cannot guarantee their quality. Less than a month ago. our officer had the bike inspected at his local bike shop. Moto Europa. and it passed state inspection. Please see a photo of the inspection report. It is very clean and has been well cared for. however it does show some signs of wear and tear as expected of a 35-year old bike. There are a couple dings and some colorings on the tailpipes. and some paint "wear" on the fuel tank (we don't want to call them dents. paint chips. or cracks - please see photos). It also has a tear in the seat cover (again. see photos). We don't know all the history of this bike but we do believe that over 90% of it is original. The officer who donated it said that when he tried to sell it a couple years ago. several people asked if the VIN on the engine matched the VIN on the frame. He didn't know and we don't either. and given that we don't know much about motorcycles we aren't comfortable answering that question. It is being sold "as is" without any warranties covering the bike as a whole or any part of the bike. but we are happy to accommodate a buyer who would like to have it inspected again. We cannot cover shipping but we can help coordinate if you are outside the St. Louis area. It's a great bike and should still have a lot of life left in it! And with only 7. 26 miles to its name. it is an absolute steal for a collector or a newbie.
