Description

This is probably the most perfect used Roadliner in the country. Only 6. 00 miles (may go up a small amount). it's barely broken-in! It just got brand new Bridgestone Exedras less than 200 miles ago. got an oil/filter change at the same time. and a service. It runs perfect. everything works exactly as it should. The bike comes with the OEM hard vinyl luggage ($1. 00) and windshield ($652) used on the Silverado. One of the things I love about this bike is that you can take the entire luggage system including frames and the windshield off in about 10 minutes. and have a bad-axx looking cruiser for cruising around town; or in 10 minutes put it back on and have everything you need to go on a cross-country tour. I bought this bike because. while I appreciate the character. Harleys are a cliche. They all look and sound the same. unless you spend $30. 00 to customize them. Yamaha did something really different with this bike. styling it with an art deco flair. that looks incredible and unique especially in the Midnight Edition with all of the black contrasting the chrome. The attention to detail in the design is something you never stop discovering and appreciating. If you want a cruiser and excellent industrial design is your thing. this is THE bike for you. Look at that headlight. for cryin' out loud! The 1. 9 liter capacity provides incredible torque. and a very relaxed cruising speed. You won't believe the roll-on performance! It has all day comfort. Some friends and I did a 3 day trip around Lake Michigan last year. and I never felt fatigued. I have taken a photo of every blemish no matter how small. To itemize:- 4 small chips. about 1mm diameter on front fender. Only through clear coat. not the black. I thought touch-up would make it more noticeable so I left it. - light scuffing from previous owner's key fob on top handlebar clamp. I left it because it is a very unique paint. semi-gloss with a fine metallic. that I couldn't find a match for. Again. it is so light that it's barely noticeable. see photo- There are small dents (no scratches) at the bottom rear of both sides of the rear fender. It looks to me like maybe the previous owner left the luggage rack cross brace off once. and the inboard tail of the luggage hit the fender. I think this because. they line up with the bags. and I can't get them to hit with the frame correctly installed. Anyway. because of their small size and the black color. they are really hard to notice without bending down like when you are washing the bike (see photo). Other than as listed all finish. paint. chrome. plastic. vinyl. everything is perfect!I am selling the bike because I have too many bikes and don't use them enough. and can't justify the insurance. garage space. etc. But just so you don't waste your time and mine. I am not desperate to sell; I'd rather keep it than get less than it's worth. My price is not unrealistic. but this is not the steal of the century. either. If you like the unique look of the Roadliner. this is the one to bid on. Super low miles. well maintained. and beautiful condition.
