1973 Yamaha 175 Enduro, runs, low miles, title, original CT175 CT1

Beautiful original 1973 Yamaha 175 enduro. I purchased this bike from the original owner 8 years ago. I consider myself just the caretaker of this Yamaha as I have put less than 5 miles on it over the last 8 years. This bike has been used for bike and car shows and is always kept in a heated garage. Although I don't ride the bike much. it always starts for me in the first few kicks. The only thing I have done to this bike are new points. spark plug. fluid change and the carburetor has been rebuilt. One of the more interesting items included with the bike is the original matching "dealer incentive" helmets that came with this bike when the owner bought it new back in 1973. Saying these helmets are rare is an understatement. In my 8 years I have come across only one other bike that had just one of the original helmets. My dealer set is the matching adult and kids size helmet. ( If you have plans on using them. you will want to get the liners rebuilt as they are no longer useable due to age). The owners manual and original Yamaha tools come with this bike along with the optional buddy seat. I also have the original 1973 Washington State title. The bike has a clean title in my name that will be transferred to the winning bidder. A few little things (because I know they will come up): needs a fresh battery(it will start and run without one). inside the gas tank is starting to get some light surface rust (will need to be Kreemed eventually). turn signal switch is not working (I will try to clean the switch contacts before it sells) although both low and high beam headlight works. crack in the tachometer glass (sale comes with another tachometer). very small dings and scratches (barely noticeable in the pictures). Overall this is a wonderful vintage Yamaha that runs. stops and goes through all the gears. Thank you for your interest in my bike. hope it goes to someone that loves it as much as I do.
