I purchased my 1990 Yamaha V Max from technically the original owner in August of 1992 with only 379 miles on it. So I owned this bike for almost twenty three years and drove it just over 16K miles. It is in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Every year it starts right up and has done nothing but run perfectly for the many years I've owned it. It has never been in rain and never fallen. I am an older, xperienced rider and have always ridden this bike conservatively. This bike is one of the nicest, leanest and completely stock, Max's you will ever see. Especially for being a 1990. Included accessories are: a cover, battery tender, mall windscreen, ngine guards, all padded passenger back rest, ack and soft luggage pack. Also included is the factory issued tool kit. Any required maintenance was always professionally performed by a local motorcycle shop. The bike color is listed as black because that is what it appears to be most often. However, think the factory color name might be midnight blue. In direct sunlight the color is a sparkly metal flake deep dark blue. It has always been stored on the center stand under the included cover and in a garage. The brakes, ires, attery and all fluids are in good shape and do not require immediate replacement. The bike is ready for another season of riding.
Like many others, am now at a point in my life that I just do not ride it enough to justify keeping it. I've ridden it only five times in the last two years. It really kills me to sell it. Notice my eBay ID? Catch me in a weak moment before I change my mind. I'm thinking it just may be time for someone else to enjoy this incredible piece of motorcycle engineering. I hope I don't regret this.
This is not a bike for the first-time or beginning rider. This bike is big, eavy, trong and fast. There will be absolutely no test rides for any rider regardless of riding experience. This bike looks and will perform close to "as new".
The bike is located in Pittstown, ew Jersey. Shipping is not an option. Should you decide to purchase this bike, lease plan to make arrangements to pickup the motorcycle.
