1979 Yamaha rd400 Daytona Special RD350 rz350 Suzuki RG

The time has come to part with my Daytona Special regretfully. I restored this bike about 7 years ago. I had the crank rebuilt and new Wiseco pistons for the top end. The frame/ brakes, rackets etc were all powder coated gloss black. Paint is the closest I could find to stock Daytona paint. I believe it's a Lexus color? Anything that could not be powder coated was hand painted in Satin black.
Somedetailsnot stock;
Red wing shocks, raided lines for brakes, urn signals painted satin black as the chrome had goneflaky, isc is drilled but I think I have a stock disc I can throw in, any fasteners were replaced with stainlessAllenheads.
Deficiencies;
Light scratch on rt side of tank but it doesn't show up in photos and I would likely have to point it out for someone to notice. A good cut and buffing wouldlikely take it out.Crack on rt muffler just behind mount as seen in photo. Tig welding and replating would make this better than new. Light pitting on mufflers and headlight ring. The headlight ring is probably common to many Yamaha's of that era so easy fix and you cannot notice the pitting on the mufflers until your a foot away.
38000 KM's or 24000 miles.
This is a Canadian bike with electronic ignition, t runs without a battery. Nice set up.Also none of the exhaust butterfly emission equipment the US bikes came with, E easier to tune Bike rides nice and brakes well for a 37 year old bike. Since restoration I have maybe burned 1-2 tanks a year through it on sunny days.
