NOTE: A common issue with the XS750 is 2ndgear tends to"round off" and doesn't "grab" sometimes. There's an easy fix for this that anyone with a few basic tools and a little bit of time and patience can do themselves. I've just been shifting from 1st to 3rd. Downshifting is not so much of a problem, ut it does arise sometimes, o I've just been bypassing 2nd gear altogether for the most part. If you decide to buy the bike, e can work out as part of the deal whereby I will fix this issue for you. It's never really bothered me much, nd, n May, rode this XS750 down to Southern Kentucky and back, hich was a thousand-mile round trip without a single problem.
We're located on the East Side of Schaumburg near Plum Grove and Weathersfield.
Someone is going to have a really KQQL old bike to ride. I'm upgrading to a road bike (I learned my lesson when taking this one on the road that it's not meant for long-distance riding). But, t's really cool to be seen on around town and I get a TON of compliments.
This bike books out at $3,885.00 according to NADA Motorcycle Guide in Excellent Condition. I'm starting this one at $1,160 due to the 2nd gear issue. Cash is the only acceptable form of payment unless you have a Honda ST1100 in trade, he year doesn't matter as long as it's inexcellent shape. IF you want to payby check, 100 will be addedto the final price,it will be verified with the issuing bank, ND there will be AT LEAST a72 hour waiting periodAFTERthe check clearsto insure no chargebacks, tc. As always, ASH isKING. All major banks are within a few miles of pickup location.
Sold completely AS-IS with no warranties whatsoever. The bike starts and rides and has no issues stopping you from taking iton the road, hould you choose. But, would replace the battery first. The 2nd gear issue is nothing. It can be ridden all day with itlike that.
Thank you. Now, et out there and RIDE!
