1975 Yamaha YZ 125

Up for auction is a very original and rare 1975 Yamaha YZ 125 motocross bike. Only 1519 of these were made and halfway through the year Yamaha switched to the monoshock so this is the last twin shock YZ made. It runs great and shifts great, the brakes work good both front and back, the rear shocks work perfect but do leak a little and the forks are clean but will need new seals and oil. The only problems that really stand out on the bike are a very badly bent front wheel and the tabs that the gas tank straps hook to on the front of the frame are broke off. If you are looking to restore one of these you will not find a better candidate and if you want race one it will take very little to make it race ready. The frame and engine numbers are matching also. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. THERE IS NO TITLE FOR THE BIKE. I will write you a bill of sale if needed. Sold as-is no warranty. Update: I had a YZ 100 chassis and pulled the front wheel off it and its a perfect fit, just had to switch spacers so the front wheel is no longer an issue!
