1988 Yamaha DT50 DT50U enduro motorcycle

This is a very clean example of a 1988 DT50. The speedometer works andI have no reason to believe that the mileage is wrong, ut ya never can say for sure with a motorcycle. It runs very well and usually starts on the first couple of kicks. It idles good and is very quiet. The clutch worked perfectly and it shifts smooth. The brakes work very well and the shock has good damping. All the lights, orn, urn signals, il pump, tc. work as they should.

The forks may need new oil and maybe seals.

I installed new rings and gaskets. It is still on the standard bore. It also has new rear wheel bearings, rips,OEM petcock, ight front turn signal, il pump cover, nd air filter. The tires look original and are in good condition yet.I repacked the silencer. It needs a new cable for the tachometer, ut I may be able to get one before the bike is sold.

This bike was supposed to be a father son project, ut it just sat in the garage for many years instead. They did not have a title for it, ut bought it from the original owner, ho lost it. Of coarse, will provide a bill of sale to the buyer upon full payment.

I tried to show as much as I could of the scratches, racked cover, nd seat cover.

I have been riding this bike a little bit, ecause it is so much fun, o it may be a little dirtier and have a mile or 2 more on it now. When it sells, will clean it up good.
