Up for sale is my 1972 Yamaha R5. It has 10,789 miles. The engine has new 2nd over OEM Yamaha pistons and rings, he cylinders were bored to the proper clearances. New gaskets and seals were installed when the motor was apart. The bike runs and shifts as it should. The frame and swing arm were blasted and painted. The bike was completely repainted. The finish is like glass but there are a couple of areas on the black stripes on the tank where the black bled through the masking, ou can see it in the pictures. It’s not very noticeable but it is there. All of the aluminum was polished and all of the metal brackets under the seat were blasted and painted. Most of the bolts and brackets were either replaced or re plated. The chrome is all original and in very good shape. The front fender has one small ding in it. The pipes have no dents or rash but do have a few acid marks on them by the foot pegs. All of the lights and the horn work. It is a numbers matching bike, ngine and frame. The following parts were replaced on the bike; I have receipts for everything listed.
New seat cover and foam, luminum band is original and in perfect shape
