1970 YAMAHA 250 DT1-C DT250 DT 250 ENDURO VINTAGE CLASSIC AHRMA

Up for bid is a 1970 YamahaDT1-C Enduro . This bike is a true survivor meaningan original not modified or changed. This bike appears to have been very well takencare of when used / ridden years agoprior to being put in storage or no longer used . I am going to explain every detail whatwe know about this bike to the best of our knowledge . Bike has just had a full service meaning Gas tank / carburetor cleaned /trans oil change, il injector tank/pump ble, new oil / gas lines, etcock cleane, ignition points cleaned / adjusted ect new battery .This bike appears to bein it`s original condition all original paint on fram, as tank ect.No bolts have been replaced with hardware store fasteners ect . Has all of the original domed top bolt heads that came on these early Yamaha models .No stripped out threads or badwrench marks anywhere .Engine appears to be factory tight never opened up ? No signs of any wrench marks on head bolt, ngine case screws ect look at pics closely .Skid plate removed to show engine cases ( no damage / corrosionto cases or frame rails )Only parts thatwe can see thatare not original to the bike are the Handlebar, eat cover . Very minor rust in spots here and there . Tachometer housingchrome is in mint cond .Speedometer housing chrome is peeling ? Some light rustpitting on upper fork tubes ( above suspension travel area )Gas tank is rust free inside but does have a verysmall spot on lower left corner on seambottom that has some epoxy on it (maybe just to protect it ) does not leak . Yamaha gas tank badges / emblems are new reproductions .Wheels are nice and true / straight and have there original Dunlop Tires still on them ! Bikeruns grea, shifts smoot, lutch does not slipeverything works as it shouldno oil or gas leaking anywhere .All electrical worksheadligh, ail ligh, brake lights front / rea, or, peedometer / tachometer lights . Still has thehardto find low / high beam handlebar switch thatstill works . Overall bike is in great shape for being 45 years old very hard to find one of these in its original shape . Speedometer / odometer is original and bikehas only5416 miles ! This bike can be used / ridden as is or is a great candidate for a full restoration . We can fully restore this bike toshow quality for an additional $3500-4000 if desired .Clean / clear California Title .
