The amazing (3-owner here) Vision was so far ahead of its time it failed to sell in 1982, ar too Rad for 1982. But then in1983 they flew off the showroom floor, ecause they only built 1,000, amaha mistakenly thinking it was a bust. But word was out about what a great ride this was and now it is a vintage cult classic with nowhere to go but up in value.Aero-dynamic full sport fairing, eat & Cool air vents, haft drive, iquid-cooled, ono-shock, owndraft automotive style Mikuni carbs with electronic ignition and vacuum fuel pump. Cosworth designed the engine, orsche designed the drive and Yamaha's SoCal U.S. skunkworks put it all together. This bike is a joy to ride. At the time, he trades said it was the closest thing to a BMW the Japanese had managed to produce to date. Recently lovingly restored with black re-chromed pipes, ew paint, olished aluminum engine. I bought it from a Denver woman who only put 1,000 miles on it...and she got from someone in Denver who only put 700 on it...so I got it home with 1700 miles on it just a few years ago. A vintage cult-classic. If you don't like or appreciate this bike, hen you just don't like bikes.
