1973 YAMAHA CS3 200 ELECTRIC START

Up for sale is a Yamaha CS3 this is a one year only bike imported to the States for 1973 before being replaced with the RD range from Yamaha, s with most Yamaha's there are a lot of parts that interchange so spares are not a problem.

I'm selling this bike for a friend and you will be dealing with him after the sale, t has a clearFlorida title in his name he's selling the bike as he just doesn't use it and as with all the older two stroke Yamahas they need to be used to keep them at their best!! He's had the bike about 3 years and did a lot to it when he got it:-

New Battery (this will need replacing died through lack of use)

New Tires and Tubes

New clutch pack (Barnett)

Sparkplugs

Oil changed

I went through the bike when he got it and the condition of everything would bear out the low miles, nfortunately as with these older bikes someone had kreamed the tank and this could do with redoing or a new tank being sourced they turn up on here occasionally there is a slight leak at the front of the tank from a repair by the previous owner(see picture )

The bike does start and run using the kickstart or the Electric start with a good battery, he system charges and all electrics work as they should. The oil pump system is working (no premix),

Please bear in mind that this is a 43year old motorcycle it isa used motorcycle,the chrome is in very good condition and would polish very nicely it is as far as I can tell 100% original condition, nrestored paint has scratches and marks as would be expected.
