I have had this for at least 10 years. It is a fun and unique bike. It runs great, hifts great, he brakes work, ights work, orn works, tc.
The paint is pretty good - a little fading on the sidecovers and the white on the tank is lightly stained in a few places. The tank has been sealed at some point in the past but it is in great shape. There is a dent with scratches in the tank(see pic) and scratches on the engine case paint. The right sidecover is scratched on top from hitting it on the seat bracket while removing it.
The chrome is great on the fenders, ecent on the pipes and ok on the wheels (the front is probably the worst). The front tire is good and new within the last 5 years or so, he rear has decent(not great) tread depth but is older. No cracking but stiffer than the front.
The battery is good enough to run the bike, ut is not good enough to turn over the starter. With a good battery, he electric start will turn over quickly. I replaced the generator brushes and the regulator a while back and verified that it is charging. The battery is over 5 years old, o if you want to use the electric start you'll need a new one.
The chain is near the end of it's adjustment. I have included 2 (yes 2!) front sprockets with the parts below. Someone in the past removed the sidestand. I got another one (included) but never installed it as the center stand works great.
Includes the fork lock key, riginal owners manual, he Yamaha service manual, he original tool kit and a boatload of parts, ncluding:
