2006 Yamaha R1 - Anniversary EditionI have owned this bike for several years now and I mostly used it to ride on street whenever I had the itch to go out and ride. I have taken it on the track on a few occasions and then purchased a track bike. Since then. this bike has rarely been on the street and has mostly been sitting in my garage on a battery tender. I start it up and take it out every now and then. As you can tell from the miles. it does not go out to often. The Bike is modified tastefully. nothing to the physical motor has really been done but below is a list of things that come with the bike. Since then. I was addicted to track riding and purchased a solely dedicated track bike. I rarely rode this on street after that since I preferred to ride on the track. The bike was downed on the track on 1 occasion back in 2011 which was my first track day ever. All of the damage was cosmetic and I repaired most of it. with the exception of some of the parts that still have scratches. which I have included pictures of. There was no frame. mechanical or suspension damage to the bike. After the crash I actually purchase the aftermarket suspension. wheels. exhaust. rear sets. levers and a few fairing parts which are all on the bike. with the intent to use this as a track bike. I ended up buying another bike that was already track prepped and planned to use this as a back up track bike. which I never ended up using. So the extra parts you see on the bike now (suspension. exhaust. levers. wheels. etc) never made it onto the track after all and they have never been in a crash. As stated earlier. there are a few scratches on some of the plastic and swing arm. which were from the original crash. but everything functions. works and runs perfect. I have taken this bike out several times on the street and have never had any problems.
