1973 Yamaha MX360

This bike has been completely restored with the correct parts back to better than new show room condition. Frame and engine numbers match. The frame. swing arm. and triple tree were sandblasted and painted single stage polyurethane black. Handlebars. rear shock springs and front inner fork tubes were re-chromed. Lower outer front fork tubes were polished Front and rear axles. axle nuts and bolts and the rear axle adjusters were re-chromed. Engine was rebuilt and the following parts were installed: new crank assembly. NOS piston and rings. NOS wrist pin and bearing. new NOS bearings. seals and gaskets throughout engine. Cylinder honed. intake has new boysen reeds. All allen head screws were glass beaded and black anodized. Engine glass beaded and painted Imron satin black. Decompression valve has been taken apart and cleaned. Transmission was cleaned and reassembled Clutch was rebuilt with new disk plates New Rex’s Speed Shop CDI unit Cleaned shifting shaft assembly Rebuilt Carburetor & painted black Clean & Glass Beaded Head & Cylinder. Head painted & upper portion polished Timed to factory specifications New chain Expansion Chamber sandblasted and painted with heat proof paint Bike has no gas or oil and has never been fired. but it has spark Gas tank was stripped and cleaned inside and out. Paint color matched from original tank. Painted base coat/clear coat. and custom made decals that match the originals installed. Original petcock cleaned and re-installed Seat completely rebuilt. with new seat cover and foam and Yamaha painted on it. Seat pan sandblasted and painted gloss black. Brackets on seat pan were re-zinced & installed with new bolts. DC Plastic front & rear fenders were painted and custom made decals that match the originals were installed. Original side panels painted and re-installed with new dzus fastners Original aluminum shoulder rims with new reproduction spokes & nipples. New rim strips. rim locks. and tubes. New correct size Dunlop tires. Drums and backing plates front & rear were polished and new brake shoes were installed Correct reproduction cables from Terry’s Cables New kickstart and shifter rubbers. Refurbished throttle. levers & perches were polished and new dust covers installed. New grips.
