1980 YAMAHA XS 1100 SPECIAL

1980 YAMAHA XS 1100 SPECIAL *RARE* 38. 00 miles ALL original - no mods. no tinkering. no aftermarket parts - all stock. 35 year old. muscle bike. The "Special" model means that Yamaha put a bigger carb (MIKUNI) on certain bikes to increase HP. This model has @95 HP. I got this bike three years ago and have done the following: new fork seals carb clean & synch new battery new plugs new rear tire (1 year old. @ 1500 miles on it) In February 2015. I had the oil & filter changed (YAMALube). ALL Valves adjusted. with 3 Shims being replaced. and a new Valve Gasket put on. All the above work was performed at Carey's Cycles in Riverdale. UT. (I have all paperwork) Windshield. extra rack. sissy bar. large cargo box. manual. etc. that come with purchase. Passed safety & registered in JAN 2015!Bike runs like new and screams down the road. Always garaged. never abused or raced. never dropped. Bike does show signs of age - it has been ridden. but also has been properly taken maintained. Everything works properly even down to the 'low gas light'! You are not buying a showroom condition bike. however. you are buying a bike that runs amazing and is mechanically solid.
