Yamaha V Max 1200 20 year Anniversary

2005 Yamaha V Max 1200 20 year Anniversary with Factory Windscreen. Very Beautiful as new condition with no scratches I could find. This bike only has 8. 25 miles on it. I did not do any burn outs but I did do a few 1 st gear roll on's. During these the front tire cam off the ground with no problem and I had to let off the gas. The fastest I had it up to was 120 MPH in forth gear. I'm sure it will have no problem coming up in second gear. I'm 63 myself so I am a little intimidated with the power of this bike. I have just been riding a touring bike to long and got out of practice for the Rip and Roaring this bike is capable of. I am basically looking for a BMW bike like a Sport Touring GT. T. or Touring bike. onda Pacific Coast. I can add cash if needed for the right clean bike. Now the kinda of bad news is the bike did sit up for 9 months with fuel in it not being used. It appears to me that some of the idle Jets are plugged as it won't idle without the choke up a little bit. I didn't have a problem at all riding it like this. In the beginning I did pull the choke up a little bit so it would idle at the stop signs or red lights. After riding it a while I didn't even use the choke as I just keep it running with the throttle. This bike does not miss. There is a little flat spot from idle as you just crack the throttle. Once the RPM's are at about 1500 the roll on has no issues. The only other flaw I know of is the the Air Breather Scoops on the side of the tank has a couple of small spots on each one of them. This bike can be ridden like it is with no other issues except when it tries to idle. After idle it runs very smooth ans has a great roll on throttle response. The bike can be demonstrated sitting or ridden. The bike also has a trickle charge plug on it. The only non stock item on the bike is a K&N Air Filter. The original Air Filter comes with the bike and looks new. You won't be disappointed with this Motorcycle and it will be a long time before you will find another Bike in the condition of this bike because it is as new as new can be with only 8. 25 miles.
