This is my vision of what the XS1100 should have evolved into. I purchased this bike in 2003 from the original owner who had kept it garaged since new. I have kept it garaged ever since I bought it. Since then I have added the original Yamaha Silverbird II Fairing which I found NOS along with the original NOS Yamaha Mount. It has Leatherlyke saddlebags which have the same texture as the inside of the fairing and look like they could have come as original equipment. Large Bates tail trunk. The Garmin and XM radio docks don't go with the bike. The engine was overhauled 33. 78 miles ago and received the Wiseco Big Bore Kit and the Dynojet Carburetor Kit. (See dynamometer printout photo) The second gear fix was completed on the bike with the worn gears replaced. This bike is absolutely gorgeous. runs very strong. and I would rate it cosmetically an 8 or 9 on a scale of 10. My reserve is less than half what I have spent on the bike just on accessories and upgrades/modifications. Save yourself the time and expense of setting up the ideal XS1100 interstate cruiser. I wouldn't sell this bike but have 4 bikes and can't keep them all ridden. so one needs to go.
