1988 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde Sedan 4-Door 3.0L

Here is a chance for those out there that has been looking for one of these car. There is not many out there to get a hand on, specially the one with no body rust on it. What I have to offer is a 1988 Milano Verde that is in very good condition overall, ith just one minor body damage that should not require much to fix it. The issue is on the left rear quarter panel right above the wheel arch, here is a crease that is barely noticeable unless you scrutinize it. The original front left fender had some scratches when I bought it, o I replaced it with another fender of the same color, he right front door was also replaced because the original had a 2 inch scrape mark and a little dent. Although the two body parts were replaced with parts from another gray Milano Verde, he shades of gray is slightly different. The parts I used to replace appear lighter under certain light condition, ut you would not notice it unless you look at it real hard. I do still have the original parts the I removed from the car. The interior is in very good condition with no rips or tear on the seats with exception of the back support of the driver seat that was starting to show some wearing on the recaro fabric. that is why you see the plaid fabric being sewn onto the back supports of the front seat. they can be easily remove if the new owner desire. before I forget, he clear coat on the roof is starting to get milky looking, ot pealing though.
As for the mechanical part, he engine runs strong and starts on first crank every time even after months of sitting. That's right, he car does not get used much. I drive it maybe 4 or five time a year to work just to keep thing lubricated. There is no oil leak anywhere, ever a drop on the ground. The timing belt and water pump and thermostat were replace right after I took ownership of the car. the clutch disc was replaced along with the pilot bearing. the drive shaft bearing and the flex disc were also replaced after I took ownership of the car. The brake pads were also replaced. It does have abs, ut the abs signal is on but the brake works fine. The heater blower fan does not work, t used to work but it quit one day when I tried to turn it on it started to smoke. apparently this is a very common occurrence with these cars. You can google it. From what I have learned is that leaves and debris gets into the heater element over the years and it builds up around the resistor for the fan motor. when you turn on the fan the resistor heats up and burn the leaves and debris. you can fix it by replacing the thermal fuse. they sell those at radio shack. you can also google it. It does have A/C but it will need to get checked out, never used it.All the windows and power locks work as well the as the sunroof. All the lights and turn signals work as it should. The speedometer and odometer does not work, t did not work when I bought it and I never tried to get it to work as I just use my gps to tell me the speed. But I think the problem with the speedo and odo is related to the speed sensor located on the transmission. I cant find one to replace it anywhere otherwise I would have. I can't think of any other issues, would not hesitate to jump in the car and go for a few hundred miles drive. The mileage on the title says 117920 miles, ut as mentioned the odometer does not work. When I decided to buy this car 8 years ago, didn't care about the mileage because the condition of the car impressed me so much for its age.
I really wish I could keep this car, here really is nothing like it on the road. The car always turned heads on the road and a blast to drive on curvy country roads. I have always wanted this car since 1988 when it landed on the American shore. I bought this car in 2008 and probably put about 3k miles on it the most. It took me 20 years to finally able to buy this childhood dream car of mine and I would like nothing more than to keep it, ut I have too many projects to get done and I need money to put in towards the other projects. I also need to keep my promise to my wife that I will sell it. If I was to keep this car, was going to have repainted Ferrari red (The best color for it).
