I am selling my 1984 Alfa Romeo Milano Verde.
I had an Alfa Romeo Milano 2.5 when I was in school and I loved that car. It was a great embodiment of the sports sedan. I have always wanted to find a Verde in good condition and I purchased this one with the intent to use it as a daily driver. My situation has changed and requires a more practical family car so I am putting it up for sale. The car is gray with the black and gray Recaro interior. The interior is in good shape with the exception of the lumbar area of the driver seat and the seat on the rear left.
Centerline now has the material available reasonably and the seats can be repaired at a low cost. Mechanically the car runs and drives wonderfully. The catalyst is gone so he has a throaty exhausted note that is not loud but it gives it a more sporty feel. It has an aftermarket cold air intake. The power windows and the power sunroof work. The sunroof is missing the liner on the inside which can be easily fixed. The car is wearing wheels from a European 1998 Alfa GTV and they are in excellent condition with brand-new tires. The original wheels are included in the sale but the tires are worn. The only issue with the new wheels and the brand-new tires is that they're a little bit too wide and the passenger rear tire rubs up on hard acceleration. The area that it rubs is shown in the video and I believe the issue can be rectified by shaving the wheel well slightly.
It is possible though that the tires will have to be replaced with less wide tires.
The timing belt and water pump were replaced by the previous owner just prior to my acquisition. The car is a true survivor. The only areas of corrosion I have found are on the rear door sills as shown in the video. I would fix that if I were to keep the car. The car has a beautiful paint job that is approximately three years old and it looks fantastic. It has a Fitipaldi steering wheel and Momo shifter.
All in all this is a wonderful running Milano that has a lot of life left in it.
