Carefully and correctly converted from original Arizona coupe. My 4th Met restoration. Concerned about a conversion? Ask someone who really knows these cars before bidding. Stucturally the only difference is the addition of extra catches on the doors, the purpose of which is questionable. This car does not have those. These are unit body cars. The factory did not "beef up the frame" on the convertibles because it wasn't needed. Has an original complete top frame (hard to find), correctly installed with the original mounts welded in place where the factory put them and original header latches. A raised lip is welded to the body to mount the snaps, just like the factory did it. NEW: wiring, brake hydraulics and lines, exhaust, 4 correct Coker whitewalls ($150 each), convertible top, houndstooth upholstery, carpet, windshield. You will not find another Met with nicer re-chroming and polished stainless. Correct Mardi Gras Red over Frost White in basecoat/clearcoat. Detailed engine compartment. Runs and drives as it should. Original radio installed but not tested. Mileage is unknown.
