1959 Rambler American Sedan " Flash O Matic " automatic transmission continental kit spare tireabout 60K miles on engine rebuild. NEVER BEEN SMOKED IN!Our car was restored about 20 years ago by 2nd owner. we are the 3rd. and have really only used it for Sunday drives and family outings. Cutest car ever. Wife named it. "Kermit!" Husband calls it. "Rambo!"It has nearly everything in tact. and mostly originals. I have listed the known blemishes. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY! PLEASE ask any questions or for additional photos!Things we have had done recently: Carb rebuild . new rear tranny seal. new tranny pan gasket. tranny fluid change out. needs some adjusting!Has near new tires. new heater/defrost fan. Comes with clear title. original owners manual and after market reproductions of 2 complete repair manuals. seat belts. "American" is missing the letter 'n'. the nob on the passenger side that I stated in orig. and as being loose. is in the back seat. and the nob is in a included to be reattached. In one of the photos. I have shown you wear 2 small tears in the vinyl back seat are. The photo of the spare time. Continental kit. shows the bumper with the chrome that is peeling. There are dots in the paint (that I stated in the orig. ad as being blemishes). a few of these spots were touched-up to keep the chipped paint from rusting! We just took it from storage. and it's all ready for you to come and get'r. We just washed the car and noticed that some of the water made it's way into the trunk. The best part is the mileage that we stated in the orig. ad as being 60. 00 is less! The true mileage is 51. 00. See photos for more info. Tranny when it's in reverse that the gear shift vibrates a little bit. it's pretty much always done that. since we bought it 20 years ago. someone who knows there stuff. can adjust it no prob. We simply don't have time to drive the car anymore and so we need to sell it someone who can! Not sure if the ad mentions it. but the DEPOSIT form of payment is PAY PAL.
