Re- listed from not meeting reserve. I bought another car today and I don't have room for both, so I dropped the reserve and I may eliminate it all together if bidding gets close.
The car drove great from Salt Lake City to Portland and I've been driving it regularly since- I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The car rips, it's super tight, and it stops hard, just like it should. I had forgotten how much car it really is.
Snow tires will only be included if bids go above $14,500
I had the car at Streamline Industries in Salt Lake City back in May to go through and make sure everything was 100% on it since it hasn't been on the road regularly since about 2011. After the addressed items below, Streamline confirmed that the car is very well sorted (if a bit dusty in some spots), and ready to drive anywhere today. Here's what they found and fixed:- boost test found- bad wastegate line (replaced)- bled/flushed brakes (RBF 600)- right rear lower rear tie rod, and alignment (or control arm depending who you ask)- oil change, and removed oil cooler kit that wasn't necessary since it's not been on the track since about 2010.
Modifications:real german K04s replaced 10-15k ago, timing belt done at the same time.ER SMIC (also replaced when turbos went),AWE OTS kit but jeff moss tweaked and with a smaller MAF housing (85mm) for the high-altitude, the car also runs great at sea level here in Portland with great fuel trims, within +/-4% after a couple hundred miles in town and on the freeway. The file GIAC tune "boost controller" compatible with ALL GIAC switching options.phenolic intake manifold gasket spacers1st run X-1 intake,Billet EVO MS diverters.VAST stage 3 ferramic-style clutch with B7 RS4 pp,AWE DTS,VAST short shifter (the modded stock one),AWE turbo back (twin2),Bilstein PSS9, Brembo/RaceTech 332 fronts and 328 rear with e-brake,neuspeed rear sway, AWE center vent boost gauge,034 track-density mounts engine/trans, PureMS rear diff mount bushing.VAST short shifter (modified stock unit)Parrot CK3000 bluetooth integrationDICE electronics iPod integration (cd changer still present)
theres more i'm sure, it's been a bit since I've gone through the car and I pretty much finished building it about 5 years ago so it's been a bit since I've put any parts on. stock internals, stock heads, all bolt-on stuff, just the way I like it for reliability and drivability.recent & significant maintenance: transmission was rebuilt at around 65k with updated 1-2 sliderI've replaced wheel bearings on all 4 corners in the last 25kall the front end control arms/tie rods are less than 40k old,N75 in the last 20knew sway bar end links recently in back, valve cover gaskets/ cam tens seals/ cam plugs, spark plugs, front outer CV boots in the last 15k
also included will be all engine covers, various stock pieces, black mirror caps, front filler plate.
it's a really great car for the miles but it does have a small history: front end was resprayed from rock chips and I had the right rear quarter sprayed too, and that paint has the ever-so-slightest foggy reflection, not even orange peel, it is hardly noticeable. rolled fenders were touched up and blended, but look amazing. small chip in the front bumper is probably the biggest blemish on the car. it is in the photos.
I've owned the car for over 11 years now, and it has gone from completely stock to its current state, and gone from daily driver to garage queen. I'm driving it more now, but it's still babied. you can see the complete ad with a few more pictures here
