Rare 1981 E12 528i 5 speed Original condition

Rare Last of the breed the First Gen BMW 5 series the sports sedan that started it all. The E12. The E12 was the first vehicle designed to carry the 5 series badge. It's Italian design still looks classic and well rounded as penned by one of the best designer. This classic is the best of all years and has a rare 5 speed. most of the final E12 were automatic. This vehicle has lived most of its life with one owner. that person safe every record of anything related to this vehicle even hat reciepts and tickets. No where else will you find a E12 that has this much history saved. The window sticker. buyers order (which shows the dealer install 5 BBS wheels and momo wood steering wheel) a copy of the original title and so much more you can easily spend a week reading it all. The paint while thin in some places and scratched is factory and has never been painted. same can be said for the interior which does show wear in the drivers seat along with other cracks is still factory. All windows work. sunroof works. all lights works. the factory radio works. have not tried the cassette player since I dont have one. The HVAC works. although the ac part does not cool at this time. This vehicle was purchased to enjoy on trips from its big trunk to its comfortable seating position to the wide greenhouse glass area. I purchased this car in North Carolina and drove it straight down it didn't miss a beat. Since then I have made several trips and she has never left me down all with amazing fuel economy. I have replace tires which were dry rotted. replace the front calipers and pads. change oil. air and fuel filter along with replacing all belts. hoses. water pump and thermostat. Next on my list was the ac. I have purchased a drier and was going to collect all the parts first before tackling it. However things in my life change and so do jobs and lifestyle. I went from a comfortable job with weekends to enjoy to working sometimes 7 days and leaving in a apartment with no garage. I love this car and want to see it preserve the way it is now. however I cant do it. So I like to see a to see a good caregiver take over. I have collected parts for the long haul. new brakes. nbsp;filters. nbsp;spare lenses. spare calipers. even a NOS rear bumper. If my life was the way it was I would not be letting this gem go!
