You are looking / bidding on a 1936 Buick Series 60 Custom Hot Rod - COMPLETE RESTORATION / BUILDStarted with an ALL STEEL 1936 BUICK SERIES 60 body. Body was stripped down to bare metal. Replaced all flooring with 16 gauge steel and custom cross members for strength (not due to rust). Frame was stripped down. sand blasted and sealed and the build began! Started the restoration in 2008 and finished in 2010. Body - All original paint removed to original steel. sealed and primed and blocked extensively prior to the black paint being applied. The lower door sectioned were replaced. That was the only area on this car that any rust was found. Car is very straight and the extra time was taken when prepping / blocking the car out because it was being painted black. Black shows every flaw unless the body is perfectly straight. The paint is very nice. but the car is driven regularly. so there may be a few stone chips that have been touched up. Engine - Complete rebuilt 1969 V8 Buick 350.
