1968 Corvette convertible with 2 tops and a matching number correct 427 engine believed to be original to the car. Vin number on windshield pillar matches the vin number on the engine pad. Has a Muncie 4 speed transmission. Still has the correct metal headlight bezels. correct big block radiator support. correct front and rear sway bars and heavy duty side yokes on rear. Convertible top frame is nice and solid along with a decent bird cage. Door panels are in good shape. dash pad is in good shape. Still has GM front end and bonding strips in place. Passenger side door does not open. not sure why have not tried to fool with it. Front brake calipers look new. rears look old. Original color was 983 code British green. This is a very rough car and would need to be restored by a professional. Frame is rusty and in need of repair or replacement. this car will need a complete restoration. Please e mail with questions. Mileage on this car is unknown. It does run and lot drive. meaning it is not road worthy but will drive on a trailer. There are 2 video links provided below to hear it running. Sounds kind of like a helicopter as half the exhaust is missing. and the other half is shot. Appears to be original carburetor. intake. manifolds etc. will need carb rebuild and tune up to run properly. http://vid910. photobucket. com/albums/ac303/gtsdan97/68%20vette%20427%20running/68%20vette%20driving_zpspn5hmnoo. mp4http://vid910. photobucket. com/albums/ac303/gtsdan97/MVI_4628_zpsg47tgoae. mp4Thanks for looking!!
