1988 Chevy Camaro IROCz Z-28 odometer = 91KLB9 Tuned Port Injection 5. 0 V8 700r4 4 speed Automatic G92 Performance axle option 3. 45 posi1 of 3500 made. Less than 600 were produced with the performance axle option. it was special order only on the convertibles. Runs perfect. all options work (cruise and A/C even) Good tires ( matching set of performance Generals) Clean. clear Title. This car is literally an Iowa Barn find. it was owned by a 85 year old man (pictured below) who kept it in the back shed on the farm. I drove it 4 hours home. running 75-80mph on the freeway nonstop . and got 23mpg. This car is turn key ready for daily driver purposes. As shown in the pictures. it is NOT a show stopper by any means. I personally would put this car into the category of project car or easy restoration. ISSUES:drivers seat is junk. (power still works. but needs to be completely re-upholstered) door armrests ($40-50 a pair. nice on ebay)interior cleaning (been stored on dusty dirt lot property for about a decade) top needs repairs. ( works fine. window is good. but has wear spots that need to be addressed)typical F body drivers door hinge. ( still slams and opens fine )the body has paint blems- someone touched up rock chips and scratches with tractor red spray paint. Dumb. I know. but it looks to be a single stage paint that can be worked off with buffing and paint remover products. The Body is free of Bondo and fillers. no dents or noticeable dings. the poor paint work was done to cover up paint finish damage. there is one tiny rust spot on the back of the right rear fender well. Underside. floorboards. and chassis are all free of damage and corrosion.
