This 53 2 Door Sedan still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correcty mounted cowl mounted Chevrolet data plate. This BEAUTY is one nice driving classic and is in great CONDITION !! This 53 has been a NICE - DRY - Idaho High Mountain Desert - Western vehicle and she shows it !! This 1953 Chevy appears to be the ORIGINAL - STRONG - 235 CID "Blue FLame" Inline 6 Cylinder Motor that is running very well indeed. The previous owner told me the motor was rebuild. with less the 10k on her you can drive her anywhere. The motor retains it's ORIGINAL intake manifold. ORIGINAL exhaust manifold. ORIGINAL valve cover but chromed. ORIGINAL "Oil Bath" air cleaner housing and the ORIGINAL carburetor and has been converted to a modern 12-volt electrical system under the dash has been rewired also. Sounds GREAT too. The engine is backed by a SMOOTH - 3 speed column shift manual transmission which also functions very well. The BEAUTIFUL Dark GM green . green tuck and roll Cloth seats. . NICE ORIGINAL Factory gauge clusters and a NICE ORIGINAL Chevrolet steering wheel. This GORGEOUS '53 Chevy is nicely equipped including front and rear seat belts. factory power wipers. factory wing windows. factory gauge clusters with a 100 MPH speedometer. original clock which is no longer working. nbsp; original chrome driver's side view exterior mirror. factory back-up lights. new rubber around all the windows and new door felt.
