Not your average Corvette Stingray
Professionally built by Bill Dehimer, wner of Full Throttle Performance, ome, y.
Bill, ound this slick 73 while visiting sunny Florida, bout 3 yrs. ago. It was a solid, ust free car that fit perfectly in his plans
to Resto-Mod (restore-modern) a classic Vette for himself. His plan was to retain the classic look, but dramatically improve it's reliability, br> performance, amp; handling. An all new, uel injected big block, ated to a new high performance 200-4R automatic overdrive trans was the plan.
Cruise 70 mph all day at lower rpm's with less engine wear & improved fuel mileage.
To insure a quality build, ill stripped the car down to the frame, the rear end housing & the body.
The restoration started by installing a new wiring harness. Then every nut, olt and screw used and the parts they mounted were new.
A certified mechanic with over 40 yrs. experience, ill spent most of his spare time, he last 2 1/2 yrs, estoring every detail of the car.
During the restoration, he latest technology was used everywhere possible and still retain the original classic styling.
Some of the upgrades over original equipment are the engine, rans, front & rear suspension, xhaust system, rakes, teering, br> shocks, heels & tires, eats, nsulation, ighting & A/C components. This car has all the amenities like Power R&P steering, br> Power 4w disc brakes, ower windows, emovable solid T-Tops & removable rear glass. (rare)
All systems of the car have been gone thru. Any part that couldn't be restored to new condition, as replaced Besides the cost of the car, nd the high end paint & body work,.............. another 25K in new parts were installed.
This professional restoration took approximately 500 hours. The average builders rate is $60 - $100 hr

Interior
The Interior wascompletely stripped and redone starting with a new wiring harness, ynamat insulation, ew carpets,
door panels, ash, torage boxes, teering wheel, onsole, hifter, eat & a/c controls, nterior lights & switches, br> seats, oor handles, oor locks, eather stripping, indshield, emblems & badges, ll vacuum hoses, br> new vintage looking stereo & speakers. All factory gauges professionally restored. Clock was changed to trans. temp gauge.
Tach was change to electronic type, teering column was also sent out to be professionally restored.
All new, he interior is nothing short of immaculate. The attention to detail is stunning.
Engine Compartment
Spotless is the word to describe under the hood where again, verything has been replaced with the latest high tech components.
The foundation of the engine is a brand new, MPP crate ZZ454, bolt main, otating assembly. Dart Pro I Aluminum heads, br> Comp Cams hydraulic rollervalve train, ustom serpentine acc. drive. 525 HP. Holley High Performance Multiport Electronic Fuel Injection,
Ceramic coated long tube headers, ew 2 1/2" MagnaFlow dual exhaust system with stainless tips. All components under the hood are new, br> from the radiator, o the firewall, ncluding the hood itself, he wiper motor, /c system, atches, inges, lternator, ompressor, ou name it.
The builder, ill Dehimer, is not only a certified mechanic with over 40 yrs in the business, e developed, anufacturers & sells high performance throttle bodies, orldwide.
Underside
Front & rear suspension is all new, ncluding sway control, BP power rack and pinion steering kit.
Hydroboost power brake system. Rear suspension has new van steel offset trailing arms to make room for the wider 285x18 rear tires.
Rear spring is upgraded with a new VBP fiberglass unit. Fuel system restoration includes new electric fuel pump, as tank, uel lines and wiring harness.
Posi rear-end with 373 gears, ew drive shaft, ew half shafts, amp; 6 new U- joints. Solid, o rust floors & chassis, ery clean undercarriage.
The car is now located in Hernando, ississippi (15 miles south of Memphis, n.).
Interested parties are welcome to inspect the car anytime before the auction ends. Please ask any questions before you bid.
The car is also for sale locally so the auction could end at anytime.
NOTE: There's a couple of items left to sort out
1. The a/c system needs two refrigerant lines and the system charged. (Everything else is there and 98% new.
2. Bill says the new electronic tach has a switch on it to set it to 8 cylinder, or 4, couldn't locate it by feeling for it. The tach works, ut isn't showing the correct rpm.
