I purchased the car in Feb of 2011. Kept the body and built a new car. The car was first driven in March 2012. The car made its first test run in May 2012. This 1963 Chevy ll has been a drag race car most of its life. Deuce’s Wild is a Street Legal Gasser, t is licensed and I drive to Cruz-ins when I am not at the track. This Chevy ll is licensed for the street has a VIN and a clear title. In Feb 2011 I purchased a 1963 Chevy ll. The Chevy ll had been a race car most of its’ life competing as a SS/T racer with the NHRA #6171. My plan was to make it a tall 60’s Gasser. With a lot of help, ime and money the Chevy ll was first driven in March 2012. I named the Chevy ll “Deuce’s Wild”. Deuce’s Wild is a Street Legal Gasser that runs consistent 10.60s ET and 125+ MPH in the quarter with best times to date 10.29 @ 129. Deuce’s Wild has a full custom built chassis and roll cage certified to 9.99. Front suspension is a straight axel with leaf springs kit from Speedway. Rear suspension is ladder bar with coil over shocks. Manual disk brakes front and rear stop the car. The engine is a BBC 462 cu. in. with Dart Pro 1 rectangle port headswith 12 to 1 compression, delbrock Tunnel Ram with dual Quick Fuel Q-750-2 carburetors, Comp Cams solid roller with .680 lift intake & exhaust, omp Cams roller valve train and MSD Ignition System. The BBC has 640 hp at the flywheel. The transmission is a TH-400 with manual valve body, CI Trans Brake, urst Pistol-Grip Quarter Stick Shifter with line lock, 400 stall converter (10”) by Continental Torque Converters and, &M Launch Control. The rear end is a 9” Ford custom fabricated housing with a Strange case, otive 4:30 gear set and Grizzly locker and 31 spline axels.
