Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to showcase this beautiful 1958 Chevrolet BelAir two door hardtop. This is a very unique car. This BelAir was purchased in Oklahoma from the 2nd owner in 1979 and has been in the this families possession since. Basically, he father bought the car in 1979. The son decided to perform an extensive restoration for dad in the early 2000s.In 2003 the original 283 engine & powerglide transmission were removed and a powerful Chevrolet ZZ4 350 crate engine was installed along with an updated TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The brake system has been updated with a power front disc setup. 20-inch custom FOOSE wheels have been installed with 245/35ZR20 low profile tires all around. The body displays excellent original body panels underneath a professional repaint of the original color combination. The paint and trim work was also done in 2003. All of the brightwork was removed, e-worked, lated, tc. The interior was restored to original with the additional of some aftermarket gauges along with the original gauge cluster. All of this work was performed and the car has barely been driven. Less than 500 miles have been put on this car since 2003.We have a binder full of receipts pertaining to the build. This is a very solid dry climate '58 Chevrolet. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns.

This 1958 Chevrolet BelAir was photographed at the Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum along with our location. As always, e would like to thank themuseum for their historic background in many of our photographs. Be sure to visit this unique Flight Museum to honor our veterans if you find yourself in Dallas, exas. Texas Classic Cars of Dallas' showroom is located only minutes from the Lemmon Avenue museum.

The paint and body show well. Although last painted in 2003, he finish has held up well. The car has been kept in garaged storage. Our facilities recently performed service on the brakes and went through the car to check everything.

The brightwork is correct and intact throughout. All of the trim was removed and restored during the restoration. You may notice a few add-ons along with the dual rear antennas.

The engine compartment is in good condition. Seldom driven since the early 2000s restoration, ower comes from the GM crate ZZ4 350 cubic inch V8 with performance bolt-ons. This powerplant has less than 500 miles logged since installation. Induction duties are handled via the Holley 670cfm. 4bbl. carburetor atop an aluminum intake. True full-length headers flow to a free-flowing dual exhaust system and sounds excellent. The front end has been converted to power front disc brakes and later power steering has also been installed. The ignition system consists of the reliable HEI system. The original trim identification plate is intact as is the door VIN plate.

This Belair just sits right.

The interior was restored to original with a few changes. Original type upholstery was used throughout. The interior is excellent.

During the restoration, lass seals and weatherstrip was replaced throughout this car.

The original steering wheel was retained along with the factory gauge cluster. The owner installed modern gauges consisting of a Sport Comp tachometer, oltage gauge, il pressure gauge, nd water temperature gauge.

The door panels are in great shape the door undersides are solid.

The trunk is clean and detailed. There is a rubber mat. The pan was painted black and appears to be the original. The spare tire well has some rust-through holes shown in the photograph below.

The undercarriage isan honest indicator of the Oklahoma dry climate conditions this car has been in since day 1. The framework, looring, ocker panels, nner fenders, nner quarters, oor undersides, indshield pillars, tc. are solid and original. There is some rust-through shown in a few areas in the photographs. The pans and braces are original.

Further inspection of the engine compartment will reveal original sheetmetal throughout the inner fenders, ore support and firewall. We hope you enjoy our remaining photos and again feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions or concerns.

The is a true Artic White & Tropical Turquoise, s shown in the paint code.
