This is a 1953 Chevy ton and a half truck. To the best of my knowledge it is all original having been stored indoors for the majority of it's life. It was originally a fuel delivery truck in Wichita. KS then was converted to a farm truck in the mid 60's and used to haul grain. I am the third owner and have had it for two years. The engine is a 216 inline 6 which starts and runs well. although it does leak and burn some oil. The body is in great shape for it's age. The cab corners are rusted out and the passenger window has a crack in it. Other than that it's very straight. Transmission is a 4 speed manual. The clutch needs to be replaced which is the main reason I am selling it. I have already started the clutch project having pulled up the access panel in the floorboard above the transmission. I have all the parts together I just don't have time for the project right now. The tires are dry rotted. but do hold air. The truck's electrical is still on a 6 volt system. The bed of the truck does not dump. Buyer would have to pick up the truck in person. It will have to be hauled due to the condition of the clutch. I prefer payment in cash. Any questions please feel free to ask as I am sure that I left out something.
