1996 Grand Sport Coupe #877, n very good condition - paint and interior normal wear for miles. This is 1 of 810 Grand Sport Coupes, 000 total. Black interior (1 of 593 built.) Of that 593, nly 190 were equipped with the Z51 Gymkhana/Autocross performance suspension.
The bottom line is this is rare (190 units) Factory stock 330HP (Conservatively rated by GM) LT-4 engine, F 6 speed manual transmission. This car runs very strong, ever raced, arage kept year round. PWR Sport seats, WR Windows, elco / Bose Gold. Exhaust was replaced a few years ago with original equipment stainless GM system. CAR IS COMPLETELY STOCK and a numbers correct Grand Sport Z16 RPO code. Only driven on weekends as a 'Fun' car. Selling because the time has come to "change up the garage collection", his is a great car! This car is a blast to drive, andles like a go cart on rails, ery good running and driving automobile.
This is what Car and Driver said about Grand Sport in 1996:"The LT4 is rated at 330 horsepower at 5800 rpm and 340 pound-feet of torque at 4500 rpm. The LT1 is rated at 300 horse‑power at 5000 rpm, 35 pound-feet of torque at 3600 rpm. Redline for the LT4 is 6300 rpm; for the LT1, t's 5700 rpmIf you want the hottest Corvette, et the $43,248 Grand Sport coupe (it's the only way you can get those big ZR-1 tires)and opt for the $350 Z51 handling package, hich has stiffer springs, ew Bilstein shock absorbers, nd front and rear stabilizer bars."
The "MINOR ISSUE REPORTED" -- The drivers door was scratched when the car was about a year old. The insurance company paid for repairs, ence the "Minor Issue Reported". There was no structural damage, oor is still original, ust some minor paintwork.
I do not "need" to sell the this car, ust looking to change up and have something different for awhile. To assist;I am open to a "partial trade" plus cash if that helps put together a dealfor a daily driver coupe (valued around 10k), r something a little different or unique. Be creative, et me know what you have, he worst I can say is no. Thanks for looking.
