Description

Selling my Factory Five MK4 Replica. It took me 2 years to build (bought kit in 2012) Invested over $35,000 dollars building it (not counting Labor). The car car is currently registered and insured in CT where they gave me a VIN #that isseparate from the Factory five frame number. It is painted & themed after the P-51 Airplane. It turns heads everywhere and I get many compliments. The donor car and driveline was a 1994 mustang with rear disc brakes (Manual brakes now with a new Wilwood Master Cylinder). I had the fuel injected 302 rebuilt and it's an excellent running engine. It has a nice lumpy comp cam that sounds perfectly at idle. The heads were ported & polished at a nascar shop, igger fuel injectors, obra intake, BK mass air, nder drive pulleys, actory five gauges, ainless wiring, rakes, aint, ooks, tc, tc. The engine was professionally tuned &dynoed in with 312 hp at the rear wheels. It runs awesome with plenty amount of HP for how light the car is as you can play with it and still have fun economically. It gets over 20mpg when cruising down the highway. It has a 5-speed transmission with a new clutch and brand new3:55gears were installed in the rear with new axle seals. That gear ratio makes driving it fun and easy on the ears. I built the car to drive it to local shows and just have fun with it. It has windshield wipers and the heater/defroster kit installed that CT laws required at inspection to register. It has a few add ons some builders add like a spacer in engine bay to keep your feet cool and cup holders, tc. It has a cd stereo with aux input which makes cruising extra fun. I've driven it about 3000 miles in the two seasons it's been on the road. I'm unsure of the actual mileage because the speedo gear in the tranny slides forward and doesn't catch the sender enough (I haven't cared for watching the MPH or made it a point to fix it yet). The only other issue I found is the tires on the rear are a tiny bit too fat and will scrape inside the wheel wheels when hitting a big bump (I should have bought the next width smaller). So other than that one rim lip being very banged up by a curb (I used donor wheels in ok condition) it's awesome and honestly needs nothing to drive. I have received emails on the decals and emblems-and they are stickers. Also the Passenger Rollbar can be removed by unbolting it if desired to change the theme ( I wasgoing to make a quick mount tonneau cover for it butwon't have time). My dream car can be your dream car too as it is priced to sell much lower thanwhat it will cost to build including the amount of time that is spent doing it. FYI-I'm not gonna give it away to low ballers or into trades as I know what it takes to build one of these. The car is "Titled" As a year:1965 Make: Factory 5 Model: Roadster. HappyBidding
