UP FOR AUCTION IS A RARE 57 CHEVY NOMAD WAGON. 1 OF 6000 MADE. THIS CAR WAS RACED AT DOVER DRAGWAY IN NEW YORK IN THE EARLY TO MID 70s . T HAD A 6:17 REAR IN IT. SHE MUST HAVE BEEN A REAL SCREAMER. I LIKE THAT! ANYWAY. IT'S BEEN STORED SINCE IN A BARN AND WILL NEED TOTAL RESTORATION. HE FLOORS AREN'T HORRIBLE BUT WILL NEED REPAIR. (THAT'S EAST COAST TALKING) I'VE SEEN AND HAD A LOT WORSE. THE CAR HAD HALF QUARTERS INSTALLED AT ONE POINT IN THE 60S OR 70S AND THE SEAMS ARE BUBBLING. IT WILL ALSO NEED THE REAR FRAME RAILS REPAIRED OVER THE AXLE. LOOKS LIKE MOUSE NESTS WERE IN IT. I AM INCLUDING REPAIR SECTIONS WITH IT. BOTH REAR CURVED GLASS IS CRACKED . THE REST OF THE GLASS LOOKS GOOD. INDSHIELD HAS TWO BB CHIPS IN IT BUT NO CRACKS. CAR LOOKS MOSTLY COMPLETE. HERE IS NO FRONT SEAT. LOWER TAILGATE NEEDS REPAIR ALSO. UTER SKIN LOOKS GOOD. LIKE I SAID IT NEEDS TOTAL RESTORATION ON MOST OF THE SHEET METAL. THE ROOF IS VERY NICE WITH NO RUST HOLES . MOST OF THE ONES I'VE SEEN LATELY ARE ROTTED. THE MOTOR IS A 350 FOUR BOLT MAIN THAT WAS REBUILT. NEW CLUTCH AND A 4 SPEED TRANS. THE TRACTION BARS ARE STILL ON IT AND THE DRIVESHAFT LOOP.
