Originally a service truck...original color was yellow and came with a search light. At some point in its life it was converted to 12V. Body is solid with no rust in any of the usual spots. Two small spots on the cab with some filler to fix previous dents, ut everything else is solid. Floors are solid with some surface rust. Bed wood is solid but looks original. Windshield has some typical scratching and the passenger side vent window glasshas a small crack andneeds replacing at some point. The heater will blow you out of the truck...best truck heater I've ever experienced. The engine has headers, ual 1 barrel carbs, nd is backed by a Muncie 4 speed transmission. Odometer reads 24050, ut it wasn't hooked upwhen I bought it, o the mileage is unknown.I found this in a barn in Idaho and resurrected it to be a daily driver. I was searching for a truck to hot rod, ut this one was so complete that I didn't have the heart to tear it apart. Rear axel seals replaced, nd new lubricant added. One emergency brake cable was replaced and a new transmission cross member added. Dual master cylinder, heel cylinders and brake shoes installed. Front bearings greased and GMC 16"rims and tires installed. Interior is bare and could use new seat cover. I'm starting a new project and need to make room in the shop. Plenty of time before the spring weather to make it what you want...I drive it as is, ut realize that most people would rather have it finished a bit more. Just had the carbs balanced and the engine tuned up so it runs great. Turns a lot of heads and is always a topic of discussion when I stop for gas. Email me any questions before bidding.
