1969 Camaro X11, orwood, H car- SS badges but selling as a clone because SS documentation is lacking. The X-code cars CAN be the rare SS but is difficult to prove without supporting documentation. Nobody can prove it's not, ut I can't prove it is, nyone that says otherwise isn't being honest with you. According to the trim tag, his Camaro was an original V8 car, eMans Blue with a standard white interior, am also assuming it was originally a 4 speed as it has an original clutch pedal (I kept it in place just in case it had value to a restoration, ut it's behind the carpet kit and doesn't interfere with operation.) and has a 4 speed sized square hole in the trans tunnel, his is NOT documented on the trim tag however, o WHO KNOWS!
I'll call out the flaws to ensure you bid knowing the condition to the best of my ability. This vehicle is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY, RITTEN,EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED
This 1969 Camaro is currently registered and insured in California and is an original black plate car with a clean title. "Restored" to period correct, river status but needs paint and details that will require expert attention. Driving this car as-is still results in PERMAGRIN and lots of thumbs ups and waves like you are on parade! Structurally sound and a great candidate for full restoration, urrently has a "TEN FOOT PAINTJOB" which in hotrod terms means looks great from 7-10ft, ut far from Great). If the reserve isn't met, 'll be investing additional funds to restore her the rest of the way and selling at a much higher price. I have too many cars!The body is straight with a few non-structural areas that will need minor rust repair (very small amount on both door skins on the bottom near the front fender, ollar bill sized patch should be plenty for both, Door Frames appear unaffected) also one hole in trunk passenger side about 1/2 dollar bill sized, cut the rust out and treated with POR15 so it's not getting worse)Tons of new parts and a folder of receipts:Drive train:Current power plant is a period correct hotrodded Small block Chevy large journal 327 bored .30 over with a Comp Cams 270H camshaft (224 in/out @.050 with 470 lift calculated with 1.5 ratio rockers), .6 ratio Erson Aluminum full needle bearing Roller Rockers with CompCamslifters, ardened pushrods/guides,screw in studs and springs,10 degree locks & retainers on Casting #3991492 "Fuelie" (Camel hump) heads, 64cc closed chamber, orrect and sequential casting numbers [ casting 3991492, ate stamp J 4 6 =10/4/1966], pring pockets professionally enlarged by Santa Ana Speed to accept the CompCams 1.5" triple springs) High volume oil pump
Brand new 625 cfm Demon Carb with the composite fuel bowl to keep the fuel cooler. This carb offers a dead stable idle and quick throttle response. Edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold. Exhaust routed through Hooker long tube headers into a custom but older 2 1/2" steel exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers (It's the epitome of MUSCLE CAR sound, ot obnoxious, ut people know you are there before you get there) IF YOU DON'T LIKE ATTENTION, ND ANSWERING QUESTIONS EVERYWHERE YOU GO, ONT BUY THIS CAR!
MSD 6 box (older but functions to spec, O REV LIMITER except your foot) with MSD Distributor (mag pickups)a Blaster 2 Coil on 8mm Summit Racing Plug Wires

It's a gate system with reverse lockout for safety, ut very easy to use, oogle QUICKSILVER shifter if you aren't familiar, nbsp;
Car has factory original 12-bolt Posi-traction rear end, .73 gears with new(er) multi-leaf springs. Inside wheel wells are unmolested and complete.
This set up squeals the tires easily when shifting from 1-2 at only 4500 rpm AND 2-3!!!, obs of torque while being mild mannered on the street at part throttle

1969 date coded 15x7 (vs. 14x7) rally wheels front and rear with 2 original rally centers and 2 repros via Classic Industries. Running Goodyear WingFoot tires (245/60/15 rear, 05/60/15 front) with plenty of tread left for making DIY smoke screens.

New interior parts include new speedo (140 mph), uel gauge, auge cluster, ash pad, urn signal harness, ignal canceling cam, ear wiring harness, ngine wiring harness and front light harness, Classic Industries)New fog lights/harness/lenses and headlights/switch, arpet kit, Classic Industries)Hushmat (heat and sound deadener strategically, ot entirely, laced on firewall, loor boards and trans tunnel for heat/noise control)Autometer SportComp Tachometer (securely ziptied instead of drilling holes, ou can do whatever you want once it's yours and not have a Swiss cheese dash,) older but works perfectly and 3-gauge cluster (oil press, ater temp, mps) Also has switch operated electric fan for traffic or 90 degree weather. New black dash pad/clips, Classic Industries) Will need front seat belts, river side included but very old lap style
Mostly new stainless trim around the front/rear and side glass, ew felts, ew rubber weather stripping (Classic Industries) door moldings, indow moldings, runk lid rubber, ew side marker bezels and lenses, ll functioning properly, ew window knobs, rm rests/pads/handles
New exterior door handles/locks and completely replaced all keyed locks to operate with one GM key, oors, love box, gnition, runk) (Classic Industries)(You'll get two of those keys with the car and one for the locking gas cap)
Turn signals work, ack up lights work, igh beams work, azard flashers work and all dash indicators functional (minus fuel and amps indicators due to aftermarket upgrades, ut if you went back to stock they would work, ut who wants a generator????) Since every harness except the under dash has been replaced, ou won't have any "demons" to chase around.
I'm sure there are more details I'm forgetting so if you have questions, et me know and I'll do my best to answer. Remember, his is a 47 year old car and a Great, reat, reat Grandfather to the newer Camaros out today, o be certain you are aware of what that entails before bidding.

Update, fter cleaning up in the trunk area, would suggest replacement of the center trunk pan as well, t functions but is showing it's 47 year age with some additional.
Any current bidders can email me to cancel their bids if this update alters your interest in the car, 'm just trying to share the flaws that the winner will have upon arrival. However, ll details listed in this description are my opinions. The good news is the part is about 200.00 at Classic Industries, ost any part needed can be found these days thankfully!
