SUPERCLEAN C5, 18K ACTUAL MILES, DRESSED FOR SHOW LS1, 6-SPEED, LOADED, A+!!

The C5 Corvette still represents a ton of performance for the money, nd this 2001 Corvette is a little more than your average, un-of-the-mill C5. The color combination is subtle and extremely appealing and it has been tastefully modified to balance looks and performance while avoiding that goofy bolt-on overload that so many of these cars suffer from. It's really quite beautifully done.Pewter metallic was a staple color during C5 production and it always looks good. It's subtle but people can't resist asking you what color it really is and the depth of the shine and just the right amount of metallic in the finish will have them thinking it's a custom paint job. C5 workmanship was always quite good, nd this one looks fantastic thanks to a conscientious owner who has always kept it indoors and protected and covered in multiple coats of wax. With only 18,224 original miles, t was never a daily driver and the low mileage shouldn't be viewed as a lack of use but rather careful use only when conditions were right. It has never been hit or repainted, here are almost no rock chips on the nose, nd panel fit is excellent. With the modifications, e can't quite say this one is factory fresh, ut condition-wise, ou'll be hard-pressed to find a nicer one.The tan leather interior is a wonderful complement to the Pewter paint, ophisticated and elegant instead of brash and bright. A few tasteful upgrades inside showcase the fact that the Corvette is a great grand touring car, nd the two-tone door panels, teering wheel, nd center console accents really drive that point home. This one is loaded with just about every available option, ncluding the sport seats, eads-up display, ual zone climate control, nd a powerful stereo system. The 6-speed manual transmission was optional, elieve it or not, nd is fitted with a billet knob that adds a sporting touch. There are also dashboard appliques that further tie the inside and outside together and aftermarket sill protectors ensure that these high-traffic areas remain in top condition. Behind the seats you'll find a pair of chrome roll bars that look extremely cool and they don't interfere at all with the operation of the black canvas convertible top. The trunk is also beautifully finished, omplete with a custom carpeted mat and even chrome hinges that are a thoughtful touch.Chevy's legendary LS1 was the only engine you could get in your C5, ut it hardly looks like the same engine here. Dressed up with body-colored coil covers, adiator shroud, nd reservoir containers, t has a very high-tech, inished look. Polished stainless covers for the intake and alternator further separate this Corvette from all the others, nd this looks like one of those cars that someone spent hours every Saturday cleaning every nook and cranny, ecause it's just spotless. It runs great, rowling through a B&B stainless steel exhaust system, hich appears to be the lone mechanical alteration. No surprises underneath, s it's just as clean as you'd expect from a low-mileage car and with the 6-speed manual, t's still a blast to drive, ast or slow. Chrome-plated Z06 wheels are fitted, nice change from the usual while still being OEM, nd it's fitted with 265/40/17 front and 295/35/18 rear Goodyear radials.This is not your average C5 convertible and it might just be the nicest one we've ever featured.
