1991 Camaro Z28 Indy 500 Festival/Parade Convertible

1991 Camaro Z28 Convertible. This Camaro was one the Festival/Parade cars used at the 74th Indy 500 race May 27th 1990. The 1991 Camaro was a early release car from GM in March of 1990. The Indy 500 Camaro Convertibles were all identical white with black interiors with all the options. Drive train was the 305 Tuned Port Injection with the 4-speed auto trans.. There were at lease 33 cars produced to be used by each Indy race team for the week of the 500 race. There could of been more of the same car to be used by other Indy people. I was told there could of been up 50 cars there. This car was used by John Andretti and his race team. I HAVE the original flag lot paper work that was used to check the car in and out. It is SIGNED by John Andretti himself. Also have all the original dealer paperwork from Blossom Chevrolet dealership inIndianapolis where the car was sold to the original owner after it was returned back to Blossom Chevrolet after the race weekend. Do not have the original window sticker. The MSRP price was well over $23,000. Car looks to have all of the original paint and interior. The paint look very nice, nterior has no fading or issues. Wheels are very nice also! Have a bunch of GM service papers. Car had new GM injectors and other misc. work done around 5000 miles ago. The car has not been driven much, ut runs and drives great! Just had a new battery and fuel pump done last fall before putting it away for the winter in inside heated storage. A Indy 500 official book and 91 Camaro dealership option pamphlet in great condition included. I am listing the car for a friend of mine. He has other Camaro's and just can't drive them all. The low mile original 3rd gen Camaro's especially the convertibles are rising in value now and are expected to rise in the years ahead.
