1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster "PROJECT"

Its a clean title project car. It currently has the complete running gear from a 97 Formula Firebird. lt1/4l60e 3. 42 posi 10 bolt with disc brakes. New wiring harness from PSI that needs installed. Mustang 2 front suspension with disc brakes and rack and pinion installed. The car rolls but needs the rear 4 link installed. Trans mount and cross member installed. Needs completely rewired. In no way shape or form is this car road worthy at this time. It is a project that when finished is sure to grab some attention anywhere it goes. that front and rear seats have new foam and custom covers. The engine has all new gaskets installed and a new timing set installed as well. The transmission was rebuilt about 1500 miles before the transplant. The body has some rust I have tried to show these areas in the pics. Needs a trunk pan. The steering needs hooked up. The idea behind this build is to keep the patina on the body and have a decent drivetrain. Just something to rip up the streets in. It was brought to my attention that the car is a 1947 and Not a 1948. I answered the question without fully knowing the answer. It turns out that the previous owner had applied for a lost title. In doing so he titled it as a '48. I just got home and compared the title to the serial number on the car. In the serial number an "E" was mistaken for an "F". so basically the title that I have is null and void. luckily. since this car is pre '49 all you have to do is present a bill of sale to get a new title. The car No Longer has a clean title. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
