Up for sale is my 1962 Corvette in Roman Red with Black interior. This car has a 4-speed T-10 manual transmission with a NOM 350 Chevy corvette V8 engine (according to the stamped casting number 3970010) that runs & drives very well. Motor is not the original. Cosmetically. the car is in very nice Driver Level Condition which means it's an extremely nice driver with very nice cosmetics. (A high end driver number "+3" condition car on a corvette condition scale). It's not a show car. it's an older restoration with a full paint job done 7 years ago but it can be presented well at any car show. Car had a complete professional stripping & was fully re-painted back in 2007 so the paint is very shiny & nearly excellent with no scratches and no dings anywhere. There is a very tiny paint chip caused by a small road rock that was touched up on the passenger side rear lower panel under bumper. which is too tiny to show in pics and you can't notice it in person unless you bend down and look for it closely. The entire interior is in very nice shape with no rips & no fading. just minimal wear associated with age. Gauges (including speedometer & tachometer) are working. All of the chrome around the car is in very nice polished condition with no pitting. There are a few small minor blemishes on windshield chrome area but all in all it's in great shape. Underneath areas & frame appear to be solid and in good condition & it appears to have protective undercoating done by one of the previous owners. Black soft top is in very nice shape. The odometer stopped working this past summer. so the odometer is not actual miles. but on a vintage car like this. I believe the mileage is exempt. Car is optioned with factory rare power windows which are working but electric window motor on drivers side is slow due to it's age. I have described this car to the best of my knowledge after owning it for 8 years but my description is not a guarantee. it is buyers responsibility to inspect & see if it's the right car for them if they choose to. There may be things pertaining to this corvette that I'm not aware of as this car was previously owned by various other owners before me. And due to the age of the car. the car is not perfect and has some normal wear associated with any classic car of this caliber. But this is a very nice 1st generation last of the C1 classic corvettes that can be driven. enjoyed and even brought to any car event for a lot of attention!!I am selling this car because I would like to use the money to buy a Ferrari 308 or 328 GTS that I always wanted. I reserve the right to end the auction early if the car sells through an outside source as I also have it advertised elsewhere.
