1968 Corvette Engine serial number matches 427 390 horse Convertible Hard Top

The serial number on the block matches the VIN. The intake is also cast correct. I pulled the left valve cover and the head is 1966. The carburetor is also incorrect numbers. It comes back as 1972 Buick. The car ran when I bought it a year ago. It was ran with an electric fuel pump out of a gas can. I'm not sure about the transmission but it looks to be an M21. The car will need a full restoration. The frame will need some repair or replacement. The car is a convertible hard top option. Both are included. I do have the speedometer and a few other parts in boxes. Mileage is unknown. Ebay made me put in a number. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

Some people have asked me about the bird cage and window frame. They are both in good shape. There is some rust where the body bolts attach, but it is not rotted. The window frame is in good shape. Here is a link to some additional photo's.
