Published on Dec 17, 2013On December 11, 2013, a 700 HP Hennessey C7 became the first 2014 Corvette Stingray to break the 200 mph barrier by reaching a maximum speed of 200.6 mph. This was achieved on a closed section of the Grand Parkway which connects I-10 to Hwy. 290 on the west side of Houston, Texas. Officials from TxDOT, Texas DPS and TransCore were on hand to witness the testing of the EZ tag toll system. Special thanks to TxDOT Chairman, Ted Houghton.

OUT of STATE buyers: Vehicles transported; Nonresident buyers will not be charged Florida Sales Tax, registration & documentary fees when the vehicle is transported out of state by transporter/carrier. Vehicles picked up & driven out of state: Nonresident buyers are required to pay the sales tax imposed by the purchaser's home state, not to exceed the Florida's 6% Sales Tax Rate & an affidavit for Partial Exemption of Motor Vehicle Sold for Licensing in Another State (Form DR123) will be completed declaring his/her intention to title/license the purchased vehicle in his/her home state. Please check your home state's tax/registration/title imposed fees/requirements befor bidding; some states do not allow a credit for taxes paid to another state & you would be required to pay your home state sales tax when you register/title the vehicle.
