Description

Selling my 1997 C5 Corvette. Car is in fantastic condition, both inside and out. 6-Speed transmission. Car has 155k on it, but has a newer motor with 37k and many other things (can supply paperwork for motor). Car put down 320whp on a conservative tune.
Previous owner replaced- Air conditioning/radiator/condenser- Brakes and rotors (now currently at 70% on pads)- Transmission- Rear subframe (aftermarket)- Clutch has under 20k on it- Bassani Axle-Back Exhaust- Short Shifter (not sure of brand)- Bilstein shocks
Things done just recently- LS1 from 2001 Corvette with 37k- LS6 Intake Manifold (Z06)- XS Power Long Tube Headers and X-pipe- Vararam Cold Air Intake- New ECU- New Motor and Accessory Wiring Harness- New Battery
This car is absolutely beautiful. Car got a new motor because of a mistake by a mechanic that caused the previous motor to spin a bearing in cylinder 5. So while the motor was getting replaced, I added some power as well. Has Bose sound system, removable targa top, sport seats, corvette mats, the list goes on. I also have a extra set of wheels and tires from a C6 Grand Sport that I planned on putting on, these tires are brand new. Tires currently on the car have very good tread as well, probably around 70-80%. They only have been run about 6 months if that. I also have grand sport stripes for it, carbon fiber, with the corvette emblem in them. Interior had no rips or tears as these are prone to have at higher mileage. This car will last you forever if maintained right, and is now ready for forced induction with a lower mileage engine as well. Was planning on procharging it next year, but life happens.
So now, the only downside. The throw out bearing in the clutch has started to go out. It's an $800 fix when I got it quoted. My budget for upgrades/repairs has run out, and I don't really feel like paying another full year of insurance for it to sit in the garage till I can fix it. Would make a mean car once that is fixed. Really isn't a hard fix, I just have run out of money. Asking $15k with everything.
