"Estate Sale" I am listing this for my neighbor, He and his wife inherited the car as part of a estate when a family member passed away.
The current owners have no use for the car as they are not car collector folks.
The Car is a 1924 Chevrolet Superior Touring Convertible
Has a 4 cyl engine that will start up but when placed in gear engine stalls, current owner has no idea what the problem is so it is sold as is where is.
The exterior is in beautiful condition, bright work all appears to have been re-plated, the body has the odd little ding here and there probably from another car giving it a tap when they opened there car door. Car was very well maintained and was driven until 2 years ago. Running Boards are also like new. The tires all appear to be almost new.
The engine is nice and clean and appears to have also been well maintained, I did notice some new parts on the engine.
The interior is also very nice and appears like it may be original with the exception of the front seat lower cushion may have been recovered but looks very nice.
The Convertible Top and ribs also all look to be in very good shape.
The car comes with many original manuals and a clear title
The only thing I noticed not original would be the turn signals were added on but were installed without damaging any of the original components of the car and could be easily removed should a person want to do so. They are running off of a seperate 12v battery.
This car was sold new at Breen Motor Company of Winnipeg Manitoba Canada
The car is located approx 15 miles North of the US / Canada Border in Dominion City Manitoba
If you care to speak to the owner He may be reached at 204-427-2017
The car is in a tight spot in a garage so I could not get very good photos.
The Car would be a #2 + car in the Old Cars Report Price Guide
My opinion is that the car is well worth the open bid, I am a car collector myself but I collect muscle cars and street rods, I believe the new owner would be very pleased how nice the car is when viewed in person.
Thanks for looking
