Everyone loves to see a numbers-matching 'Vette, but this one does it a little differently...some may say the way Chevrolet shoudl have done it in the day. The original 350 block in this 1975 Chevrolet Corvette has recently finished an investment that brings the power close to 500 hp! Yes, this one is distinct, affordable, and brutally quick everything you knew a late-C3 could be.We'll tell you more about the monster under the hood in a moment, but first let's take some time to appreciate the paint and bodywork. This one gives subtle hints to how special it is. The blue paint looks similar to the factory shade of Dark Blue in '75, but it has the added luster of a more recent application. Plus, this one has a bit of a more modern/slippery design with the badge removed from the shark-nose. The rear is a nice custom single-piece assembly with the integrated spoiler. All of this combines with the iconic Stingray silhouette and hallmark Rally wheels to create a Corvette that is distinctive while still following tradition.Code 192 stands for a black leather interior. It looks fantastically preserved on its own, but thanks to the T-tops, you can open this one up to let the world see how nicely it coordinates with the dark blue exterior. It's quite possible that those are the original seats, and they don't appear faded or wore out by the sun, so you know this Corvette has been loved. Less than 500 miles ago this was rebuilt to include go-fast goodies like a bored .030 over kit, GM forged crank, Callies connecting rods, JE Pistons w/Total Seal rings, Dart aluminum heads, Comp Cams with roller lifters and rockers, an Edelbrock intake, and a custom-tuned Holley 700 CFM four-barrel carburetor. What was once a 205 horsepower machine is now churning out closer to 500 HP! And when this fires up, the long-tube performance headers that feed the X-pipe dual exhaust give the kind of growl that lets everyone know this 'Vette is far from stock. You've got complete control over this monster motor thanks to the Super T-10 four-speed manual transmission featuring torque lock sliders.
