1963 Corvair Monza Convertible

1963 Chevrolet Corvair Monza ConvertibleI bought it to restore. but ended up purchasing another 1963 Corvair Chevrolet Monza Convertible. so this one is on the chopping block. I bought it in the first place because the body is very straight. The worst of it that I can see are the white bondo patches on the rear of the car. Other than that I only found one tiny ding. Someone sprayed primer over the original Palomar Red. It has a black interior that needs to be totally redone. along with a white top that is gone but the convertible frame is still there and looks to be in good condition as well. The engine is a YN 145cid 102hp engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. It looks very clean. and the story I was told is that the previous owner was in the middle of restoring the Corvair and had already rebuilt the engine. However. who knows when that happened so you need to assume that this engine needs to be rebuilt. Most of the parts are there. I know for sure that the front bumper is missing. I purchased a set of tail light bezels prior to buying my current Corvair. so these will be included as well. I am really not sure what else to add. other than it is an excellent starting point for a restoration project. There is no title. so I will be including a bill of sale with this car.
