Up for auction. without reserve. is a 1964 Chrysler 300 K. It has a single 4 BBL 413 engine and a console shift automatic transmission. A little history may be helpful in understanding the condition of the car. About a year ago I was traveling through a little “out of the way” town. in Southern Utah near the Arizona border. As I was driving through town. this Chrysler was parked along the street with a For Sale sign in the window. At first glance I thought the car had been restored. but when I stopped and looked at it closely. I could tell that it was a “survivor” car in mostly original condition. It is hard to believe the paint is 51 years old. it has obviously been garaged and well taken care of its entire life. There are a few minor dents and dings. and some very minor rust by the driver’s side rear wheel well. The rest of the car is a nice dry southwest US car. with virtually no rust. It looks good from a few feet away. but at a closer look you can see some wear in the paint. I was able to contact the owner a few days later and bought the car. The car had been a pet project for the owner and he has been working on it in his retirement. He has replaced all the belts. wires and hoses. had the transmission overhauled. new shocks. new tires. new carburetor. and new brakes. The car runs a drives nicely and is a real head turner. He had decided to sell the car so he and his wife could take a month long cruise. I have only driven the car about twice in the year I have owned it. and have run out of garage space to store it. with too many other car projects. I have done little to the car other than washing and cleaning. You are welcome to view the car personally. or contact me directly for more information. I can be reached at (801) 910-6306. I can store the car for a reasonable amount of time. and can help with delivery if needed. I live near Provo. Utah just off interstate highway I-15. zip code 84003. Look at the photos carefully. call and ask any questions. but what you see is what you get. The car needs a full restoration. By bidding on this auction. you agree to the terms as outlined. Please only bid if you have the funds available to complete the purchase. You are not bidding on an “option to buy” but bidding to own. Perform your due diligence before you bid. A $500. 00 deposit is to be paid via Pay Pal within 48 hours of the auction end. and the balance paid by bank transfer. or cash at pick up. No tire kickers please!! If you have no eBay feedback. or you have less than 98% positive feedback. call before bidding. I am probably not interested in trades. and it will sell to the highest bidder.
